The Way They Were Then is an idiosyncratic and stirring work inspired by Mujeres - Eduardo Galeano’s collection of short stories about women. Executed in three distinct episodes, Feet off the Ground Dance imagine a world where statues can breathe, birds are forbidden and women aren’t human. Driven by live multi-instrumentalist Alex Paton’s rousing music, The Way They Were Then conjures up mini worlds, taking the audience on a unique journey of the lives of women both renowned and unknown.

Éter is an insight into the way we relate to those around us, and our experiences of behavioural instincts. Through different atmospheres we explore what is shared beyond words. Featuring an original score from live musician Panos Chountoulidis and captivating lighting states from Barnaby Booth, this enthralling piece of dance intensifies and builds to a dramatic climax.

Passenger is a dark, explosive piece about support, manipulation and control. Flitting between powerful solos and seamlessly executed contact work, the dancers urgently try to mark their territory and find their place. Driven by the percussive and echoing accompaniment of live musician Ashley Molloy-South, Passenger makes for an exhilarating and charged work.
